I have an S70, year 2000. We have replaced fuel pump, fuel pump relay switch, alternator and ignition switch. It will not go over 45 mph, brake lights are staying on ( even when car is off). My husband says it's stuck in limp mode. Any idea what is going on? Please help.

I'm curious as to the problem or problems that initiated the repairs so far. Did a shop do the repairs? Do you have codes? How old is the battery? Have you checked for bad ground?

Thats lot of stuff going on, and the limp mode might even be caused by the brake lights. On my 1999, activating the brake with your foot on the pedal only works for about a second before the ETM turns off the throttle command function - like most cars today.

Lets work on the brake lights first - was there any work done on the car to trigger this?
