Fore sale: 98 v70 xc electric driver seat $120, Antlers OK

I have a 98 V70 XC electric driver seat for sale. It is excellent condition, no tears, appears to be taken care of, the car is at 144,500 miles. I have another seat to put in until I replace with a manual driver seat. Pictures posted. The cost is $120 (negotiable), buyer picks up or pays shipping. I am located in Antlers, OK.

Do you know someone that needs a new seat? Or was 'dirk' an attempt to tag someone? Is there such a thing as tagging people?

Poster who replied to your ad needs a 1999 seat or needs the leather from a P80 Seat 1992-1998

Seems like Ford messed up more than I thought when they took over in 99. That's part of the reason I got rid of my 01 v70.

I think the first Ford design was in 2008. The P2 was as Swedish as meatballs

In 1999, the sips side bag went to computer control , unlike the manual trigger 1998. That’s the only conflict.

The 2008 Volvo S80 makes me think of the'14 Ford fusion.
And I don't like the electronic control very much. That's why in my topic about 'my idea: Volvo concept car', I say 'mostly mechanical engine', 'mechanical SIPS airbag', mechanical window rollup option, and also why I bought a 98 V70. It has a mechanical (cable) throttle body, although it still has a sensor.

Electronic requires more stuff to troubleshoot, but is much more reliable, especially if high quality wiring components are used.
