Drove ALB to BUF across beautiful upstate NY leaves,
I think winter gas is here as I only got 32 mpg at 70 mph

Finished up installing my new tone ring that I ordered from parts geek. and all seems happy after I took a quick drive around the block.
Used my phone to do the alignment, as I took some measurements before I took it apart.

I recently purchased a cheap electric torque wrench for working on the S60. So today I used it to do a quick job on rotating the tires, which is a first. Yes, very simple, but basically the wrench paid for itself in one use, haha!
Lately I have completed the installation of the second control arm on the right side. This went better than the first go, on the left. The job also included completion of replacing all the top and bottom torque mounts and the right side engine mount. As well as the re-greasing of the inner CV boots on both front axles. This cost me a few hundred in parts and tools and A LOT of hours of work, but it was fun.
Off to post on the AM radio problem! Good luck all!

Picked up Ruby Red from the body shop -- repainting the roof after Safelight scratched the crap out of it on a windshield replacement. New slogan? "Safelight repair, Safelight deface" -- Had my body shop guy belly laughing.

What’s the book rate for a roof paint and clear coat to match?
I’ll guess $550

Its NJ, so labor rates are usually high.
The insider information I have is the customer is E "The Hatchetman" S, so Im guessing he did well even billing to "Safeway repair, Safeway Deface"

I think it was in the $580 range. I'd have to check the initial estimate, since I never saw the final invoice. Safelight paid directly.
