V70 Fuel Gauge problems

Having problems with my 2000 V70 fuel gauge. Will be driving and the fuel gauge will just drop to Empty even though tank is full. Next day gauge works fine when starting car, but will drop to Empty again while driving. Any suggestions?? Thanks.

Here's a list of recall or general bulletin items for V70s. I don't see the guage on it, but do see 'fuel sending unit.' You should call a dealer near you and ask about it -- if it's covered in any reacall or bulletin.

I see that bulletin is from October 99 and this is a 2000 V70. Does it still apply?? Thanks
