850 Turbo Taillight Fitment

Hey everyone,

I've seen some taillights for a 1995-1997 850 available used at a real good price. I prefer the look of these tailights, as opposed to the ones on my 1994, as the newer ones are clear and red, with no amber.

Will they fit my 1994? The listing in the add for these tailights state they're for a 1995-up 850. I really hate the amber in my taillights, as they look very dated.

I've been wandering the samething. I drive a 94 and have been looking for 95+ taillights at a good price. From what I've been told, it is a direct bolt on and swap, but haven't tried it yet myself. Too rich for my blood so far for what I've found.

How are we supposed to find out??? Would the dealerships know for sure?

I doubt it. Only someone who has done this or knows someone who has could answer for sure.

I would also ask this question over on the www.volvospeed.com forum. More people frequent there and more people do unusual mods to their cars there.
