Leak above the water pump
I have a 2004 Volvo S80 t6 I replace the timing belt and gears water pump how did valve job done to it had the head checked on it putting everything back together install the water pump went to put water into the coolant system and it's leaking what looks like to be right above the water pump has anyone come across this issue before

What fluid is leaking? A picture would also help.

From memory there is a little plastic nipple on the thermostat housing that the coolant reservoir hose connects to, that breaks really easily. It's tough to re-install everything there without damaging that nipple. This may be your leak. You can get a new Volvo thermostat housing with nipple relatively cheap from Volvo, just have to be really careful installing.
