2007 S80 3.2 FWD transmission fluid fill plug
Has anyone accessed this part of the transmission? I want to change my fluid but I can't see the way where fluid gets added. The drain plug is easy to get to from below. It looks like I may to remove the driver side wheel well liner to gain access. any tips?

It is on the driver's front top corner of trans.
The air cleaner needs to be moved.
Drain, add 4 quarts, take out the torx head plug in the plug, and then let it drain, if none drains add 1/2 quart to see that it drains. Install air cleaner. Run car at idle for 15 minutes and take out plug and let any drain, then you are done. The fill level is not at 90C like the dipstick equipped ones. It is t 50-60C.

The picture below is with the air filter assembly removed on a 2010 S80 3.2
You will need a T55 to remove the fill plug
Note: it will be very tight
Take care
