I am not pulling the engine... I'll sell / junk the car before I do that, lol.
Also, I tried drilling a hole in the fender... When I got through I discovered that I was about 8 inches off. I really have no chance of getting close to being in the right spot, lol.
Angle grinder + Diamond blade is the winner in my opinion... I'll revisit this issue in a couple of years when the part has 7-years / 70k on it. Now that I know how to do the timing belt, it won't be a big deal to redo this. Based on how I use the car, my guess is that the part will last until it is time to redo the timing belt in 7-years... When I go to check it out in a couple of years I'll post an update in this thread.

ok so the water pump failed on my car and since the tensioner idler pulley with the stripped t-45 is in the way, I got no choice... It's gotta come out!
I plan on going to the "cut it out" route. What exactly am I cutting? Am I cutting the cast iron tower or is there a shiny metal sleeve surrounding the bolt that I am trying to get out? Any pictures of the aftermath or process of doing this would be very helpful.
thanks guys!

I would yank the engine to get my grubby hands on that bad boy

lol... pulling the engine is not within my expertise. I'll sell the car for real cheap before I do that!
