Hi,
My fuel door will not open on my 2000 Volvo V70XC. When I pull the release tab on the driver's side door, I just hear a click around the instrument cluster area. I have seen lots of posts where it can be released manually by pulling a tab/cable on an actuator.
I pulled off all the rear passenger trim on the car and cannot locate any actuator. I have also pulled off the trim that goes to the rear passenger side tail light assembly.
Does anyone know the EXACT location of the actuator (if it has one) on this particular model? If someone could attach an image that would be great!
Best,
Eric

Thanks a bunch. I was able to locate it after some more searching. It’s hidden pretty well but once I found the torx screw it was easy to find.

I was able to remove the actuator and followed SiRobbs video on cleaning and lubricating the unit, however this did not help. I recently ran a scan of the vehicle and received a couple faults from the VGLA (see attached pic). Any advice on where to go from here? It seems like the VGLA is not supplying enough voltage to the various components of the central locking system.
