My 1999 s70 was save by this site. After a minor accident, my front subframe was bent.. No way that would have been economical to fix. You folks showed me how "easy" it was to swap in a new frame. Did it in my driveway.

As much as I would love to say MVS saved my car somehow, that wouldn't be the case for me. MVS has been a fun place to interact with other Volvo enthusiasts and most of all I have learned so much reading about other people's problems with their repair that fixed the problem. And no post about MVS would be complete without the mention of Abscate's humor
that tends to be fun. Thank you Matt for continuing, improving, and keeping MVS friendly! Sincerely,
June

Just wanted to chime in and say how much I enjoy this site and how much it has helped me.
I appreciate how straightforward and non confrontational MVS is- many other forums can be downright hostile to newcomers.
Lots of amazingly well written how tos, generally helpful mechanical knowledge, and kind people here.
I've gone from being afraid to loosen bolts in the engine bay to having the confidence to swap my 850 to a manual this winter mostly thanks to MVS.
So thanks! and merry Christmas/ holidays!!
