Hey everyone--
I've been getting a blue puff of smoke every time I accelerate from a stoplight when the car is warm. I've been told this is a blow-by, caused by some oil leaking into the chamber before the acceleration.
I was suggested a product, "Rislone Ring Seal" and was told that it won't hurt anything, but it'll re-lubricate the seals that are supposed to keep the engine oil out of the combustion chamber.
Has anyone had any experiences with this product? Anything to look out for?
Thanks!

Rislone?
Spend some time and search through the past posts around here... you'll probably learn of a few different products that have been tried... one that comes to mind is Auto-Rx, which I used with no noticeable results. Remember that the passageways for your oil flowing are very narrow, and easily clogged. In the end, I would not use Rislone, unless there's a number of Volvo owners around here who have used it and want to chime in. I'd be worried about what it might do. These engines are finicky with additives.
