Testing Blower Motor

Post by danfromjersey »

Hello,

So in my recently acquired 240 project car the fan blower is not blowing. Before I undertake the dreaded fan motor replacement I was wondering if there was any tests I could do to ensure it was not some other electrical gremlin.

The fuse is not blown or blowing and there is no noises at all generated by the fan. It seems to be the normal failure would be a loud grinding noise or popping fuses. Thanks for any advice!

Dan

Check the blower motor fan by applying +12V directly to the (+) input of the blower motor.
