Volvo V70 II no low beam adjuster mechanism

Hi. In my V70 I have no electrical leveling motors in headlamps. That means, if something heavy is in trunk I start to blind other drivers. It is certainly not acceptable for volvo.
I also have no manual level adjuster next to light switch and no auto adjusters at the suspension. Next to headlamps there are not plugged connectors probably for electrical motors.
Maybe my car was equipped with Nivomat and someone change it for normal shocks?

You didn't see a whitish gear with a screw slot near the low beam housing?

Xenon headlights?

Afsik it's either that and a level sensor on the rear suspension or halogens and a knob next to the light switch. I don't know of a third option stock.

I can adjust lamp manually by rotating gear but imagine a situation- white collar guy gets his girlfriend and her family to a party. Her mother is fat. Rear of car is lower than usual and you have to stop by gas station, open a hood and adjust by one turn to lower low beam. Crazy....
I have that situation. Car was first sold on California market and everything seem stock and no adjust other than manual.

Maybe you're looking too much into this. The car is pretty tiny and low to the ground, so i'm not sure that's something you would need to worry about.

If you want to make precise calibration, then you're gonna need to measure the light from 25 ft with half a tank and the usual cargo or lack thereof.

Yeah, probably Im too accurate about this. To adjust Im using proffesional equipment for headlight because I have it in work. So, this can be normal that I have only one manual adjuster on lamp?

I believe so, you only really need to adjust your low beams because that's the one that will be always on, for the most part, at night; high beams will always be straight, and turn signal lights are just signals. So as long as the drivers side is 5cm lower than the passenger side, then you should be fine.
