Retrofitting heated seats on P3 XC70

Hello!

I have a 2010 XC70 with no heated seats (drivers seat is electrically adjustable and with memory).

Since the leather on my seats are quite worn and there is a great offer for a part-leather seats (heated in front and back) in the local marketplace, then I was thinking of combining the two seat sets. So ultimately I would be left with part-leather heated seats in front and back and the drivers seat stays electrically adjustable. I know I'll need a new climate control unit for the right buttons and the central console panel with the buttons for the backseats and probably activate them with VDASH, but I was wondering if anybody has any first-hand experience with this kind of a swap?
