How is the air filter? You could start with changing that. http://www.skandix.de/en/spare-parts/fi ... r/1007248/

Things the can decrease the fuel economy without tripping a DTC.
- Degraded O2 sensors.
Degraded Fuel Injectors.
Clogged Air filters or poor grade.
Tire pressure. ( Rolling friction ).
Driving habits.
Poor grade of motor oil can effect fuel economy by as much as 12%.
( More friction = more heat = more wasted energy )

thank you all for reply.
i have already change air filter before 5000km when i make service to the car.
my Driving is very very soft but it is city driving
tire presure are 35 psi (normal 32).
is there any way to check OS2 sensors before change
and i will go to check and clean Fuel injectors.
in the other way
is there any way to check turbos and automatic transmition .......?

For degraded performance that does not produce a DTC ... no objective way.
Bosch recommends 100,000 miles preventive maintenance intervals for O2 sensors. If your O2 sensors have over 100,000 miles on them ... keep O2 sensors on the list.
If you do decide to replace the O2 sensors you will want the correct Bosch O2 sensors. Anything other may make the fuel economy worst. The three correct Bosch O2 sensors would put you back ~$375.00.
I would not blame you if you go through the rest of the list before you do the O2 sensors. However keep in mind with the 15 L/100 Km - 11 L/100 Km these trucks are rated for, it does not take a huge improvement in fuel economy to recover $375.00 in a reasonable amount of time.
Fuel injectors, remanufactured and flow matched Bosch 62672 / 0280155831 ~$75.00 - $100.00 for a set of six.

Is there some reason that you suspect the turbos or transmission? I doubt that the transmission would affect the fuel economy, and if it were something wrong with the turbos, the car would run extremely poorly.papoutsisy wrote: ↑22 Jan 2020, 19:18 thank you all for reply.

Does the XC90 roll easily when you let off the throttle? Can you verify if each wheel turns freely by jacking up each corner and spinning by hand with the transmission in N? After driving, can you sense if any wheel is hotter than the others? It's possible that there is a brake caliper sticking.

Dear all.
After many changes and checks and ofcourse spend a lot of money for nothing....
The result is.
Cleaning throtle
Cleaning intake
Cleaning injectors
(But was clean)
Change all OS2 sensors with new bosh.
Change accelerator sensor pedal.
The consumption of the car still 21 liters per 100 km.
City driving and very smoth.
I dont understand other people have less consumption.
If some one have any sugestions please.

Do the wheels turn freely? For example, if you put the transmission in Reverse on flat ground, does it roll backwards without touching the gas pedal?

Did you just look at them or did you check the spray pattern and flow rate?
