window won't shut all the way

Post by S40volvo2007 »

Hello
Volvo s40 2.0D 2007
Just noticed window on passenger side wont shut all the way up. There is a gap of 2cm. Initially closes all the way up but immediately drops down 2cm just enough to annoy me.
Motor seems to work a bit slow but works, switches work master and slave.
Any idea?

Try doing a window recalibration.

1. Close all of the doors and bonnet.
2. Key on, engine not running.
3. Hold both the driver window and passenger window switches in the driver door panel in the closed or up position for 5 to 8 seconds after the windows are closed.
4. Release buttons.
5. Remove the ignition key.
6. Operated the remote twice. lock/unlock lock/unlock.
7. Test the windows.
