I wished my computers were as reliable as my Volvo’s....emergency trip to SmithCollege for a computer swap. Abby met us halfway, which made it 59 minutes of driving.

Not what I did to my Volvo, but I did a brake job yesterday in the parking lot of a walmart on a friend's car. Friction material delaminated from the pads resulting in loud screeching from back plate on rotors. Had to drive to a local NAPA for pads and rotors. Bought NAPA's proformer ceramic pads (second cheapest pad they sell). They look and feel identical to Akebono ceramic pads but are less than half the price. Not sure if they are indeed made by Akebono, but they seemed alarmingly similar in terms of build and quality. Something to consider if you need to do a brake job and don't want to wait for shipping.

I think you should be awarded serious MVS points for Walmart parking lot wrenching.

I can't stop staring at it! Gorgeous.

My brother replaced the tailpipe hanger and got rid of that clanging sound from the rear end.

I got to test out my horn when a pickup tried to pass me from the incoming lane as I was about to make a left turn into a driveway. That is a satisfying horn!

Car was a Saturn Ion. Easiest brake job I have ever done. Was finished in under an hour. No rust anywhere on a salt belt car.

Thanks!

Speaking of exhaust, I need to pick up a clamp to put the rear muffler back on the 940 this weekend. I need to cut down on the exhaust fumes a little bit... it stinks.
