Somewhere in a box in a 10' x 10' storage building I have a pair of used OE lines I replaced on a 98 V70 XC. I was told that they were leaking so replaced them to find the leak continued. The dealer had 3 goes at fixing it, and said that was the only way to fix it. What I found is that it was not the lines leaking but the 'O' rings where the pipes meet the oil thermostat. Oil leaks from there due to poor design of the clamp that holds them in place. Over time the plate bends outwards on the ends and does not hold the pipes fully home in the thermostat. This allows the pipes to leak around the oil seals when they harden. What then happened was the dealer mechanic replace the 'O' rings but did not see that there was a build up of crusty hardened oil in the 'O' ring recess. Pushing the pipes back in just tore the new 'O' ring so the leaks continued.
I ended up removing the thermostat housing and fitting a new gasket as it was sweating a little, and very carefully cleaned the hardened oil out of the pipe/'O' ring recess.
I fitted the new pipes as I was in there anyway, but kept the old ones 'just in case'.
Not sure I can even access them until I build my new garage later this year, but if anyone wants them and is not in a rush I can ship them to you as I have no need for them.
I wish you luck with your adventure.
Neil.

Part is not unique to 'R' models. The caliper bracket is larger as is the disc, but the hub mounting point is the same as other P80 models.

I’ve got a set of T shirts of that mistake
Clean them up, get the piston back into the cylinder and reseat the seal and they will be fine
Nitrile gloves, brake fluid is bad for you.

Hard to tell where the fluid is coming from. The piston looks like it may have over extended as the dust seal looks like it has come out. Did you press the brake peddle by accident?
Pipe does not look wet so don't think the pipe is the issue.
