Very nice! Do you know the lifespan of an evaporator? When I do my AC I'm trying to figure out what else could/should be replaced.

First one on my 1999, 6 years then leaked

Nissans replacement now 7 year old, no leaks

No leaks defined as AC charge has lasted 7 years, no top-ups and good 40 F delta performance

Since I am stuck at home for the last and next week, I have been doing some work to my 98 V70. I repaired the leaking trans cooler lines, by cutting off the crimps, installing new hoses and o-rings. Rebuilt a spare headlight motor from an 850 to work in my V70 on the drivers side, now it doesn't stop wherever it wants. I installed side marker lights and my 16" summer tires and rims, installed my 2000 V70R dual exhaust (needs new tips). I then went to cleaning the interior, I tried a method I read about here using a magic eraser. I used windex and went through 4 magic erasers and it sure makes a difference, took a pic of the panel above the rear hatch one side clean, the other dirty. I also cleaned and conditioned my seats with Auto Glym leather cleaner and conditioner. Currently trying to tint my rear windows, I attempted it a few months back, got frustrated and gave up, but I have more time to kill now. Since most forums like pictures:

The interior looks really nice! Well done!

Spent the last few hours trying to pull the driver side axle from the S60... not going so well. I went and rented a slide hammer and axle puller attachment from O'Reilly, but that's not quite doing the trick. I thought the one I had in my R was seized... this one is horrible! I can get pry bars and whatnot between the axle and transmission, but I can't get the thing to budge.
I'll get back at it tomorrow... hopefully the PB blaster will do something to loosen it up. At least I'm able to work on the car in the garage now that my dad's X3 is running with its new engine!
