Alaska and cold

-40F is so cold, that the Creator says the units don't matter...

I live in Anchorage and not the north. The coldest I have experiences in twenty-eight was about -20F. The past years have been as low as -12F (+/-). Fairbanks is where the about -50F is or more up north at -65F (+/-).

Ive dipped down into the low -20s in the hollows of Ithaca NY area where I lived for 10 years - of course, my work has taken me to the bottom of the world where -20F is balmy....
