Overheating Not really

Says it’s over heating Says battery is low Running fine

Sounds like a sensor Anyway I can find out which is bad

Get the battery checked out. Low voltage can produce all kinds of false warnings and DTCs.

First garage said engine was toast Someone drove it too hot warped the head NO LEAKS I don’t believe this quack Hope to get to another garage for 2nd opinion still think it’s electrical

Battery replaced Only sensor now I lie coolant But overflow reservoir is full

There is a level sensor in the bottom of the reservoir. I could be stuck or it may need to be replaced.

After replacing battery do I have to clear previous error Or do anything else

Dealer is involved now....replaced the new battery from Advance Auto with what he's calling a Volvo battery. Says the car sensors won't work properly with any other type of battery. What's your opinion

Also said that the cooling system had an air bubble that was causing the sensor to read low fluid level....
