My notes say only that it was at SwedeSpeed. A search for "disassemble fob gently pry site:SwedeSpeed.com" turned up this one:
https://forums.swedespeed.com/showthrea ... g-exchange
but you can find other posts there with photos.

FWIW, my fob is still working after nearly 4 years. A couple times the lock button has become flakey, but disassembling didn't turn up any problems and it worked after reassembling (and perhaps replacing the battery.)

Good luck!

Mine survived a wash cycle too. I think I took the battery out and blew a hair dryer on it.

The best approach for all electrical items that have gotten wet is to disconnect all power. Pull batteries and clean with at least 90% Isopropyl or specialized solution. Leaving water on it with a rice technique, which absorbs water, or even drying can leave residue which causes oxidization. I suppose if one cannot open the affected device this route is better than nothing. My experience is furry oxidization will pop up and cause problems, which many times an alcohol cleaning will fix. So for a fob, open it up, take out board and battery, and then clean it up with alcohol and let it dry, which is real quick. Many times the battery will be dead. Most of the time the unit will function correctly after wards.
