Probably the rod, I had an issue with that in the XC90. The button got jammed up and prevented the key from being removed. Apparently it's a common thing!

Hi!
So I had a question regarding this 2004 Volvo V70.
When purchased it had a check stop light everytime I hit the brakes. The side bulbs were not working and then replaced. This did not stop the message but the lights worked. Maybe I missed a clear the message step? Recently after a trip to the meat market for essentials the brake lights remain on. I have checked all fuses and checked the little plastic piece at the pedal and unplugged the unit underneath and the lights remained on. I'm guessing a relay maybe? Anyway, I'm looking for a diagram for the rear compartment if anyone could point me in that direction? Also, but maybe something separate the driver side headlight was replaced same as the brake lights and it has since blown. Thank you for your time and knowledge.

You might want to start a new thread for this issue, but are you sure all the bulbs are working?

All the bulbs are working except the drivers side low beam that needs replacing, again.

Those wheels look great, I had a set. I called them Edward Scissorhands wheels because there is no comfortable way to hold them. I got rid of mine for something more user friendly -- swapped them onto my wrecked '06 V70 in the body shop parking lot under cover of darkness. Glad I did.

Like I said, they look great, and as long as someone else is handling them, they'll be great.
