  • Whatever else I'm forgetting
I'm looking to create a downloadable archive of every sort of Volvo publication I can get my hands on.

All languages ok.

All years ok.

All formats ok: PDF, Word, rich text, JPG, PNG, GIF...

Physical documents ok, electronic preferred. I'll give you my address.

For example, the Volvo R Catalog from circa 1979.

What is your plan for paper document archive? I have some old stuff (maybe rare?) in bound paper form. I don't want to scan all of them.

This is completely random, but I was just watching a video of "Wayne Carini's Attic," and he says it used to be a Volvo dealer. The attic is full of old manuals and parts catalogs and fenders and ...stuff.

One item is "Quick Reference Parts Catalog - 1997". This is softbound, 152 pages of part numbers for 140 to 960 series cars. I have to find some others I have before I can list specifics.

If we get enough of the sales brochures together. One could extract and then compile a database of interior codes and paint codes.

I was surprised to find out the 2004 S60R and V70R have only two standard interiors Dark Blue and Light Beige. One special order interior, Atacama Natural hide. Ran out to check mine when I seen that. The Atacama is natural hide.
