.Dr. Anthony Fauci's Ex-Employee, Jailed
Fact Check: Was Dr Anthony Fauci's Ex-employee In Prison For Exposing COVID-19 Pandemic?

Fact check: Recently, netizens were claiming that Dr Judy Mikovits was sent to prison for exposing the COVID-19 pandemic, but it has been proven false.
"Dr Judy Mikovits did not go to jail for finding a breakthrough in the scientific community but for tampering with official and confidential documents."

That one sentence I guess proves it's all made up? I suppose official and confidential documents at one time said the Earth was flat and some today still believes it's so.

Still, Interesting and I think most people here at least are capable of making up their own minds one way or another. One can go along with what is happening but don't necessarily have to close our eyes.

Social distancing, masks, sanitizers, Costco 2 person per family... All those things no problem if it makes other feel better and I gladly oblige but I'm not fearing the virus. No one can tell who, when and where will get expose and test positive. Testing positive does not necessarily mean getting sick.

Those two doctors reminds me of my friend from Denmark. She and her cousin spent a year here in the late 80's studying English at the local JC I attended. She thought I was too clean and said we need germs in order to strengthen our immune system. She went on to get her PHD in chemistry and designs gas processing plants.

I would highly suggest reading the full article...he was making an assessment on what was known at that point in time. He indicated "If one assumes...," which was a condition for suggesting Covid-19 being similar to the flu.

On the basis of a case definition requiring a diagnosis of pneumonia, the currently reported case fatality rate is approximately 2%.4 In another article in the Journal, Guan et al.5 report mortality of 1.4% among 1099 patients with laboratory-confirmed Covid-19; these patients had a wide spectrum of disease severity. If one assumes that the number of asymptomatic or minimally symptomatic cases is several times as high as the number of reported cases, the case fatality rate may be considerably less than 1%. This suggests that the overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%) or a pandemic influenza (similar to those in 1957 and 1968) rather than a disease similar to SARS or MERS, which have had case fatality rates of 9 to 10% and 36%, respectively.2

Well here we go...
I don't know if this is another plot cooked up by " Pinky & the Brain " or not. But I do know that in these times if you want to sow confusion, unrest, insecurity, etc then you put your seeds in every possible media or communication network there is. We all heard during the Russia investigation about literal factories pumping out " stuff " 24/7. This does happen. So if there is an Oz behind the curtain, then you can be sure that this tactic would be employed to ferment dis-ease. Further, it seems that as we try and adjust to this new normal, we are then thrown yet more fear - this time regarding food shortages, to constantly keep us off balance. To what end, I don't know.
But right here in our little Volvo site I can't help but to notice a little oddity, which raises my eyebrows. At one point of this thread on Corona-virus we were hearing a lot from an individual ( 93 Regina ). That poster inundated the thread with re-posts at a level I have never seen. It felt like a person doing a job, just based on the volume alone. The " feeling " of a person just wasn't there. Then that poster mysteriously drops out of sight, never to be heard from again, but is promptly replaced with another poster who uses the exact same form and technique to a tee ( Phainein7). So I don't know if it's coincidence, conspiracy, coworkers, or cousins. But, at least to me, something feels a little off.
And when that happens, I naturally become a little suspicious about motives etc.
Try to learn life's bad lessons vicariously through others.

These tables show all available US states and territories and the COVID-19 data for the last 5 days. I have sorted the states alphabetically and added growth rates for last several days for all states with ranking of each day. Of course, this information changes daily. I have presented the table in two parts because of the screen shot, but it is actually one table in Excel.

Again, results change daily.
State growth rates for May 9, 2020. All information is based on reported information and actual results may be different.

For your information, the top 5 states or territories yesterday in growth rate (the worst containment) are: South Dakota (0.239) with 3393 cases, Minnesota (0.182) with 10,790 cases, Nevada (0.104) with 6208 cases, South Carolina (0.076) with 7531 cases, and Wisconsin (0.072) with 9939 cases. States in Bold have reopened to various levels.

Worldometer https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir ... rus-cases/ has started to add state curve information to their website.

A column on the right shows the current growth rate divided by the 5 day moving average. No states were over 2.00 yesterday.

My calculated growth rate for USA is 0.0250 for yesterday, down from previous day of 0.0291. This is not population or case number weighted. This is the lowest growth rate since I started the calculation on March 3.

My background is scientific...if you believe going to church with a congregation sparsely populated with Covid-19 infected people is good, well here's a video and photo shot below that may be of interest. Scientists attempt to make good faith efforts, but John Doe's uneducated opinion generally is off the charts.

Without an overview of a given topic, its unlikely most will fully understand; our political process currently is a prime example. Case in point,

"Steve Bannon's phrase-"flooding the zone with shit,"-for overwhelming the system with disinformation, distraction, and denial, which boosts what economists call "search costs" for reliable intelligence."

RE: "... friend...She thought I was too clean and said we need germs in order to strengthen our immune system."

I believe that is old news, scientifically, and historically.

Did Colonists Give Infected Blankets to Native Americans as Biological Warfare?

There’s evidence that British colonists in 18th-century America gave Native Americans smallpox-infected blankets at least once—but did it work?
====

Smallpox

In the early years of the American Revolution, George Washington faced
an invisible killer that he had once battled as a teenager. While the
earlier fight had threatened only his life, at stake in this
confrontation were thousands, including military and civilian alike,
the continued viability of Washington's army, and the success of the
war for independence from Britain.

The unseen killer was smallpox, which Washington described in 1777 as
a potentially greater threat "than...the Sword of the Enemy." Smallpox
was typically brought to eighteen-century America by either English
immigrants or recently-arrived slaves. Unlike in Europe, however, the
majority of the American population led relatively isolated lives on
farms and plantations. Outside of the coastal cities of Boston,
Philadelphia, and Charleston, there was little chance of acquiring the
disease. For example, there were no smallpox epidemics in the colony
of Virginia prior to 1747.

" Scientific background " is just a bit general. The guy who pumps my septic system could make that statement.
And I notice that you didn't refute my questioning your originality. Just something about church goers and uneducated John Doe's. Interesting. Did I hit a nerve ?

I think one has failed to know what "Phainein" means. My socks are white...I attempt to be grounded in present tense learnings/understandings rather than follow the path of people like daredevil 'Mad' Mike Hughes, who learned the hard way, killed in crash of his homemade rocket.

We are getting great marks for the handling of the CoronaVirus
pandemic, especially the very early BAN of people from China, the
infectious source, entering the USA. Compare that to the Obama/Sleepy
Joe disaster known as H1N1 Swine Flu. Poor marks, bad polls - didn't

States in Bold have reopened to various levels. US Virgin Islands growth rate is not of concern because they have so few cases.

Yesterday Idaho, Kentucky, Montana, and South Dakota did not report information.

Worldometer https://www.worldometers.info/coronavir ... rus-cases/ has started to add state curve information to their website.

A column on the right shows the current growth rate divided by the 5 day moving average. Arkansas was over 3.00, but did not report for May 9 resulting in two days growth yesterday.

My calculated growth rate for USA is 0.0198 for yesterday, down from previous day of 0.0250. This is not population or case number weighted. This is the lowest growth rate since I started the calculation on March 3. Overall, US is improving, but there are areas of rapid growth.
