I'm wondering about the following...
Theres a slight "bow" in the belt between the intake and exhaust sprockets. The marks look lined up... Can the sprockets be moved slightly to allow for the belt teeth to line up??
I'm not sure if there is any "free" room to move those cams to accept the belt. I laid the old belt between the two cams and there is the same "bow." Looks to be off by half a tooth.
Can I adjust the cam sprockets?? Like I say, the marks are lined up...but maybe there's room for error?!
One more thing...
Is it easier to have the mech. tensioner off while routing the belt and then bolt it on with the belt is sort of pre-routed?
Further to timing belt instalation

Rotate the crankshaft two revolutions CCW, by hand, and check the marks again. They will either line up spot on or they will be off a full tooth. Don't try to adjust the cam sprockets unless you removed them. If you did remove them I hope you marked them.
Things look funny on the first loose fit.

Sorry Ozark, but I have to point out that the crankshaft has to be rotated in the clockwise direction, looking at it from the right hand side of the car. Bad things will happen if he tries to rotate CCW.
