I live in Denmark, and has imported this vehicle.
All software has been updated to the latest version.
All 5 injectors has been changed recently due to heavy vibration at low RPM (around 900, and especially heavy vibe when also braking!) .

Problem:
No error messages shows up.
Problem most distinct with warm engine (after app.

I know very little about diesels. Does your car have the ETM (electronic throttle module)? If so, that could be the problem.

All engines have a zone where vibration is greater, but the excessive vibration your getting is probably from fuel starvation or too advanced fuel injection. Starting with the former, I would try to clean out completely, the injector pump. At a truck stop or elsewhere buy some diesel fuel conditioner. It absorbs water, cleans gelled diesel fuel and lubricates the pump. Its a tonic. I believe the procedure to clean intensively the pump is, 500% the recommended mix for one tank full. Often diesels have pump problems of this nature. They are gummed up.

I have now tried the "tonic" - no change.
The engine is still misfiring - worst after app. some 15 miles driving. It also seems to misfire when I give a little more gaspedal. Especially around 1700-1800 RPM.

Tme 47, I trust the fuel filter canister has been drained of water if it has a tap to do so. Both fuel and air filters are relatively clean. When running the engine is the black smoke from the tail pipe heavy, normal, or very light? I'm thinking the injection timing is a little early (advanced), or the fuel is too lean. Since you are in a cold climate the temperature sensor may be sending the wrong temp to the computer and thus you are too lean. My neighbor's lack of power on a newly arrived, old Mercedes turbo diesel, was simply a filthy air cleaner. Lastly the air bleeder on the fuel bus bar or hose to the injector pump, I assume has been exercised.

thank you all for your replies. The dealer changed all 5 injectors (warranty) - now its runnig like a new car.

If this was under warranty, why didn't you just take it there in the 1st place???????? :roll:
