srs service urgent

i have a 2002 s80 this morning went out to go to work started upand had no instrument gauges and the doors will not lock or the windows will not roll down tried pulling the neg battery cable for a while and still nothing checked every fuse none were blown taced most of the wiring that could get to and nothing the only thing that appears for only about 10 seconds is the srs service urgent then all the gauges go out i am at a lost any ideas of what could be going on the car runs fine but no gauges

no still at mechanics and he is scratching his head everything checks out to be good but still no power inside

there are two known volvo s80 issues that could be one of the causes.

(I assume the battery isnt dead)

the battery cable that runs from the trunk to the engine compartment can build up resistance, so you might not be getting all the juice to the front.

The second is there can be resistance between the positive battery cable and the fuse panel, so cleaning the connection could help.

I thought these were problems on earlier models but could apply to 2002... A place to start checking anyway...

About the only place I've seen those are the wiring diagram CD's they sell on eBay.
