2005 V70 AWD 2.5t ECM 951C ... idle speed control. Signal too high

Post by Duncx »

Just replaced the throttle body with a new aftermarket part as had P2111 error code and had entered limpo mode.

Now I am getting "ECM 951C ... idle speed control. Signal too high" and car is idling around 1200-1500rpm.

I have checked the throttle adaptation and used the key position II for 30 seconds and then off for 5 seconds to get the TB to re-adapt. Still the same issue :(

p.s. I have a VIDA/DICE unit.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Duncan

SOLVED: I couldn't replace the ETM gasket as no matter where I looked it wouldn't have shipped for 2 months ..... deep in covid times :(

Used gasket maker and it sealed it up and ECM 951C has gone.

Now onto the other issues this poor thing has :(
