Fixing 850 lower front bumper damage

As part of the prep work for eventually installing the fog lamps, I need to address this pre-existing damage to the driver side bottom part of the bumper.

I was hoping that some aftermarket “R” style lower lip would be available that would attach with adhesive tape. Ideally, it would fit perfectly along the existing lower horizontal line. Then, I could patch what still shows of the crack from behind the bumper and do whatever cosmetic fix seemed most reasonable for the front side.

I’ve looked all around and can’t find a lower bumper lip, even though I swear I’ve seen them in photos from other forums. Anybody got any leads or other ideas?

Or you can buy a plastic welder and repair it. I did with a bumper that had 2 'bunny ears' caused by someone running over and then backing off a concrete parking bay stop block. Once painted you could not tell. We have a store here called Princess Auto that sells the unit for about $70 CDN which comes with what looks like a propane powered soldering iron with different tips and fill sticks for different plastics.

Bumper has not split again.
