Will the most recent posts list on the MVS home page return? Personally, I like this list to see what is currently posting that I may want to read. I look at some favorite forums, but I like the new and different I may find in the recent list. I have noticed there are some changes made to the home pages and understand if the recent list will be back after changes are completed.

Yes. I'm working hard to lower MVS page load times. It's important for Google and users' experience. Slow pages = nobody is happy.
One of the ways I'm doing that is by scrapping the expensive (in server load/page weight sense) list of recent forum posts on MVS Home page and the two thousand VRD pages. Those all share the same design.
By scrapping that and a bunch of other heavy stuff from Home/VRD, pages are loading at least twice as fast as they were. I like that the latest posts info is handed off to the dedicated forum page anyway.

This works for me. Maybe change the link title to something like 'xxx Forum Users Online Now and recent posts to all forums'? I had seen the current link title, but had not clicked it until today when I finally saw your second reply.
You have really created a great web site that works well and has a fantastic group of contributors and readers. MVS has truly gone where no other forum has gone before (and in a very positive way)!
