While looking at the Pro-Lift 3 ton pinned units someone posted pictures of inconsistent, poor and missing welds. Another said the Torin Big Reds were better.

I'm about to receive another pair of the Pro-Lift 6 ton Jack Stands. Gave my friend a set as a thank you for his son's help in fabricating the dual exhaust (muffler delete) on 08 C30. Hopefully the set I gave him is Okay .

Verify then Trust!

Good to know. I've not used the 4 Pro-Lift 6 tons since purchasing. Gave 2 away and 2 replacement will arrive tomorrow. Will double check them for welds and contact surface after looking at the photos of both the 3 ton Torin and Pro-Lift. Regardless not going back to pin less units.

Just arrived. Perhaps not critical but going back regardless as the other set had no issues.

Poor alignment, bad and no weld all in one section. Cost cutting by eliminated the QC position and hiring lower skilled workers? Amazon sold so many due to HB's recall that it was Out Of Stock for a bit.

Yeah, those welds really don't look too great.

I’ll try again. They only give 5 seconds per jack stand to weld

The replacement set looked excellent. So that's 1 out 8 that was bad. I have 4 stands, friend has 2 and returned a pair 1 good and 1 bad. Just have to check them all now.

Ordered these from Costco today and will see how they fair.

The pedal is a really nice feature. I'd like to get the Daytona low profile long reach from HF.

I have been tempted over and over again on purchasing the Daytona low profile jack. I believe there is one expensive one with a 3 year warranty otherwise all HB Jacks are 90 days unless you purchase in-store and they may offer you an extended warranty for a charge.

Not sure if I posted this but here is an update on the 2 Costco Jacks and 4 Pro-Lift Stands. Returned one of the Costco Jacks as they shipped a used one with broken and missing parts. I think the original return was packaged so well they didn't bother to check the content and reshipped it as new to the next customer (me). Costco arranged a UPS pick up and I purchased another.

The Pro-Lift is solid as a rock and has excellent height. Have to be careful not to crush or deform any side skirts when lifting from the side but it goes up easy.

The garage ceiling is standard height so couldn't extend the stands further.
