Ok, now for the hard part. Getting the word out to Volvo owners in financial distress.
  • I'll make a page here (like the VRD entries... i.e.: non-forum) as a landing page for press/people
  • Make a Google Maps page with pins for you who have offered to help ("nodes") (not your name, just a pin on a city)
  • I'll start posting on MVS Facebook and my personal page with info on this program
  • I'll contact local news tv/papers
I'm going to define a node as any sort of help offered, whether it's "I have a few parts" to "I can go to the Pick n Pull" to full on "I have a parts car"... make it easily for press to see a map with simple visual pins. Very important to the press. Keep it simple at first. If they're interested, they'll ask for more granular info.

(You'd think the hard part would be getting Volvo DIY'ers on board to give their time and parts, but no, with you guys you make that the easy part. I have so much gratitude for you all.)

I have two 850 parts cars and various parts from s/v70. I am in Chehalis Washington. I can donate parts. I am in the middle of a manual swap but that means a lot of parts are pulled. Let me know if I can help.
1994 850 na green 187k on body, 275k on motor(backwards?), unrestricted airbox, 960 TB, persus wheels, Lowered, IPD poly upper and trans mounts.
1974 144 k-jet m40 satin black, 250k on body, 25k on rebuilt motor(running...usually)
