Unpopular opinion: flash green looks so good on the 2004 with the black trim! People hate the '04s, but I love em.

Looks like gobi interior, though. Atacama would bring $12k, but gobi will probably go for a little less.

I totally agree with you. 04' is my favorite year as well. The trim provides a nice contrast with most colors.
Now, people are really going to hate me but I will say that I am not really a fan of Atacama. Works only with a few colors and totally clashes with anything green.

Everyone else hates the '04s so much, it's hilarious. I would love an '04 M66!

I'm mixed on the Atacama. I like it, but it's very bold... almost hurts your eyes. Nordkap is my favorite interior on these.

Late 2003-2004 is when Volvo improved them. I don't know what "improvements" were made, but apparently they're supposed to be much better than the older ones.
That looks like a pretty clean car for the price, though.

The reason I asked was Carcomplaint.com list transmission as top 3 issue with the 04 V70. I've texted the owner.

Although transmissions issues are less prevalent after 2004, they can still happen. Car complaints is very useful, but has a lot of... well, complainers.
