After replacing fuel pump (old one was leaking on the cap, purchased ebay unit), I found the car stalling after few minutes of driving. Fuel level also appears to not work at all. Is there a manner to pull the hose going from fuel pump under fuel tank to the sending unit correctly? Was nearly impossible to get the fuel pump arrow center with the arrow and really tough to seat it, as if it wasnt in a proper location. Also should I try to run the car until gas tank is empty? Any help would be so much appreciated.

I've read when putting back the pump the fuel hose under the pump may get kinked which would cause fuel starvation

Also look at your hose clamps - if you don't use oetiker style it could leak and not build pressure. Regular screw clamps have a high failure rate from posts I have seen.
There are a number of videos if you search. The process is to tie the line with a string or equivalent before you pull it and use the tie to pull it back. Empty the tank as best you can and get some good gloves and you should be able to assemble it. As to the float (sending unit) you have to maneuver it in correctly (also on the videos).
