1993 Classic 240 FOR SALE

I am the original owner of an automatic blue/green 1993 Volvo 240 Classic Sedan.
Classic - (1993; numbered version of the last 1600 200-series Volvos produced for North American market)
I am looking to sell this car to a true Volvo enthusiast, to a good forever home. I’ve taken great care of her for the last 27 years. This is not a “parts car” but a car that is completely roadworthy and deserving of someone who will treasure her and knows 240’s. The car is still my commuter car and we cruise on highways doing 70MPH with ease – ( not that we get to 70 MPH in 10 seconds!!! )

The car has 208,000 Miles. As I worked for Volvo Cars of North America for 30 years, the car has been factory maintained. All maintenance records available. No Accidents. No rust.

In March of this year, I had the roof, hood, and truck lid repainted as the clear coat was compromised; there is a small dent in driver door. The vehicle has Vresdestein tires with about 15K on them; original stock wheels plus one extra mounted & balanced factory stock wheel with Vresdestein tire. No sunroof.
Everything works. Beige cloth interior, no rips. Pioneer radio and original speakers which should be replaced.
Recent work: replace front control arm bushings, inner & outer tie rods, plugs, A/F. 2 years ago: Front pipe & exhaust system, rear main seal. June 2020, in tank fuel pump replaced, throttle body cleaned.
Load bars and bike rack included.
I am sadly parting ways with the car because I no longer have access to a shop & lift and long time Volvo technical wizards.

Car is located for pick up in Bergen County, New Jersey.
