Edit: I didn't have the official tool, but even still I can't imagine how people do this job with the trailing arms in the car..

That delta link looks brand new!

That's what they all look like down here. It's hard working on southern cars...

Oh, and congratulations Abscate!
My brother just picked one up for his car, he just has the storage pocket in his.

You're a lucky man. Thankfully the yard I went to had four or five 98-00 p80s so I got to pick the least rusted one. This one came off a c70 convertible so I'm guessing it didn't see too much winter driving.

From what I see, that's a really nice find up there. That's most of what I usually see, it's actually very rare that I find anything more crusty that that one. My cousin's old '98 V70 was the worst I had seen, but that's because it was a NY car before he bought it. The owner had just moved down here. MAN that thing was rusty... probably the rustiest P80 I've ever seen! It had a small hole through the floor just behind a driver seat mounting bolt.

Pulled my old trailing arm off today and I'm 90% done putting the car back together. Pics to show how bad my brake dust shields were. I also replaced one of the metal plates at the top of the rear springs which has rusted through. And new parking brake cables because mine were seized and made it so I couldn't get the cable unhooked.

So I got the trailing arm in and dropped the car off Jack stands and the wheels sticking out wide a bit. I pulled it off a 00 c70 convertible. I checked volvoparts webstore and the trailing arm is the same part for both, but some other forums I've seen that c70 is a wider track.

Any advice before I get an alignment?
Any chance it just has a longer sway bar and I can swap my old one back in?

Edit: c70 is indeed wider. According to theCarConnection.com s70 track width is 59.8/57.8 front/rear and c70 is 59.8/59.8. I can't see anything saying it would cause any major issues so I'm just gonna pretend it was an intentional performance upgrade

You could actually get the abs sensors out? Never had luck doing that... at least without destroying them.

I tapped a screwdriver between the hub and the sensor to wedge it out, but yeah it was stuck deep in there.
