96 960: transmission fluid type? I have tls Topic is solved

I had bought 6 quarts of toyota type TLS (Idemitsu brand) fluid for my 98 xc before the engine locked up. I had gathered from the p80 forum that this was a good choice. Can i use this fluid in the 96 960?

That is fine. Dexron-III was the original but T-IV/JWS3309/TLS was the fluid used if torque converter clutch chatter was a complaint. T-!V spec is backward compatible now as the original fluid is replaced by the higher spec stuff.
