You don’t need to clamp small vacuum lines, they stay on pretty well.
Small zip ties work great , though.
If you do oetikers,put an extra one on the hose so if you do have a crack, you can trim the hose end and reclamp in a jiffy.

Finished up the manual swap( PLUS EXTRA) on my '97 T5
The "EXTRA" was:
- COP conversion
- RN oil pan
-16T
- Delrin SF bushings
- P2R Big brake conversion, front and rear.
- Built a couple chassis stiffening braces (that are currently off for coating)
- IPD Eros wheels (mainly to clear the brakes)
- A long list of other little things

Finished that paint I just have to westsand the clear. It's a 10 foot job atleast but I'm glad it's done!

By the time the rocker cover is back on, it won't really even be noticeable. Good work! Not sure if I would've taken that on.
