A note on my experience with the Capital Auto Auction folks:
Back before the tax code changed on donated car deductions, they moved 5-600 cars a week, just in DC.
There is an in-house buyer who pays minimum scrap price for stuff that doesn't sell.
A small group of Volvo 'enthusiasts' in DC would bid up the 2/7/9/P80 platforms, but I think there was a spot of trouble with the Authorities. A buddy goes regularly, says he hasn't seen any of them in a while.
I gave $225 plus the fees for the T5 about a year ago; fixed a massive fuel leak, put a spare radio in, and it looks like it will be OK.
