I have a remanufactured Bosch alternator on my 2010 S80 3.2
It was changed before I bought my S80
It works perfect, I have no complaints.
Here is the info from Bosch with respect to Re-Manufacturing.
Good luck
Paul

My personal experience with "remanufactured" parts has left much to be desired. Several units, hardly as good as new and one DOA. I think I will stick with my own work as long as I am able.

I would never purchase a remanufactured part on ebay. Only seller I would risk getting a remanufactured item from is FCPEURO due to their lifetime warranty.

I suppose, I essentially did buy from TLB (local part stores). My bad experiences with remanufactured parts came before the internet age. I since decided to avoid the issues by repairing everything I could or buying new.
