want to buy: 90s wagon $2,000 max

I think my 98 XC may have bit the dust this evening, so I'm shopping around within 200 miles for a 90s Volvo wagon. I'm interested in 96-97 850 turbo/960 wagon, 98 V70 turbo/V90. I would prefer something not dark interior or paint, but will consider all. something that is definitely drivable 500 miles per month, has working AC, and even if it has a few things that need worked on. my friend won't drive too far. South DFW, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, fort Smith, and Longview Texas are my boundaries unless I can get my car working and buy a car dolly

Maybe. What do you have? This is an old post. I couldn't find a decent wagon so I bought a 960 sedan. Best vehicle I've had so far but a 960w/v90 is what I'm looking for. And I do not have $2000. I have a trade offer and that's it. I have a 98 XC with a matching parts car. The 98 XC needs a bent/broken connecting rod replaced or the whole engine replaced. If you know someone that may be interested, please let me know. $700 for all of it. I'm about to begin part out this coming weekend. Would like an answer before then.
