For Sale: 2000 Laser Blue V70R SAVED!Denver $2300

Post by diplomaticm3 »

Hi folks...I realize this isn’t the classifieds section but that area is dead quiet. this is just a feeler to see what I could get for this. The intent is to sell the car as a whole. Obviously, I was rear ended at a stoplight and will have a salvage title.

Story of the car is that I bought it as a backup daily & decided to do a running restoration that kinda took on a life of its own.

2000 V70R...198k miles...and of course Laser Blue.

All new within last 3k miles;
Jewels headlights
Propus wheels
Xemodex ETM
New genuine Volvo Ohlin’s rear struts
New front Sachs shocks
Brand new continental WinterContact tires
Rebuilt driveshaft (CO driveshaft)
Brand new angle gear
VC (torque tube off a 98k car)
P2 V70R steering wheel
Volvo spark plugs
Timing belt/pump
Cam seals
Entire exhaust system redone
Fuel pump & lines

This car took me forever to find...as y’all know, there are only 60 of these in the US. This car was fast, reliable, and beautiful. Never modified and all genuine Volvo parts used in this process.

I’d ask $2,300. The car will need to be towed because the fender digs into the tire. Located in Denver/Boulder, Colorado. Again, let me know your offers, thanks guys.

Can you apply brute force to the fender to get it away from the tire? The fender is junk anyway. It is much easier to sell a car that does not need to be moved on a trailer. Someone may just drive it like that for a while.
Nice looking car.

It's too far gone. Notice the bend at the top of the C pillar. It's lucky the glass in that area didn't break. It'll never drive straight again. It's got a massive structural problem.

It still looks nice on the driver's side.

It's been bought. A guy here in Colorado got it. I'll try to sniff out a lead on how it's going and report back.
