I am also the proud owner of a emerald green metallic #421 1998 s70 T5 Manual.
I put her under a car cover to prepare for VT winter.
I'll pull it out on nice days to keep things from seizing.
Hopefully by January I'll be in my new house with 2 bay garage and 9ft post lift woohoo.
So far have put 3k on my b5234t9 donor that had 62k.
The billet 6+6 22T with 9 blade turbine from snail turbo in Tawain has held up great. No apparent shaft play no leakage or oil smoke. I did have 1 day I hadn't checked my catch can recently and sucked something through that left a quick cloud. The fresh pcv box uprated to 5/8 hose to mishimoto baffled can plumbed back to 99+ptc with relocated vacuum draw has been great. Even mounted above unshielded turbine housing still collects a little condensed goodness every few hundred miles. Ive been running the snow boost cooler wmi kit for about 16 months 2 motors 3 different turbos with zero issue. Even with the pump mounted up under the splash guard near the washer reservoir which i utilized rather then trying to fit there giant 2 liter jug. The green injectors purchased from fcpeuro have been flawless, although now with dw200 pump they are reaching %105 duty cycle in 1st and 2nd near redline at 23psi of boost. IPD poly subframe inserts and poly upper torque mount have been nice editions to hard launches limiting torque steer. The front and rear strut braces from viva have also been worth there cost. The 302mm brakes were a bargain getting the brackets from a fellow forum member at half the cost and some brembo slotted rotors and brembo pads made total cost around $290. I purchased snabbs fresh air pipe and rip kit along with amarid intake spacer when I did the rn swap and port matched the 98 intake. And with the help from aaron at vast and even few pointers from calvin I've got a scary als setup sending giant flanges upon demand. Even with the upgraded maf and injectors running on aem x series wideband and no other o2 runs flawless 14.7 idle and cruise and 11.5-12 under wot. Have the methanol set to full spray at 12psi no progression just basic on/off kit. And have been able to hit high 300s low 400s in bhp (flywheel) and over 400 tq. The car pulls 30-60 like a flip of a switch and goes straight to 115 with little to no fall off. I've played around with cam timing, My swap is single vvt so have played with exhaust cam, powering solenoid at diff rpm/load points using o2 preheaters wires that aaron has repurposed. This post went above and beyond the topic for that I apologize. But I'm thankful for all the inspiration and information I've gained from sites like this and swedespeed, volvospeed, etc..
Happy thanksgiving too all the volvo lovers!

Wow, 105% duty cycle is pretty high! You're definitely going to want to move up to some bigger injectors.

Sounds like you've got a nice build though! Makes me want to get going on my car! I have too many projects... lol.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Pretty much lol...
Stripped torx on thermostat housing when I did that.
Broken nut when doing rear shock mounts.
Your normal p80 stuff...
Def getting some dw800s..
I just stay out of high rpm meanwhile and they stay in high %80s.
For most of it i followed fwdgtp build, wanted a mid 12 second street car.
Next step will be dropping the td0 platform since i already have custom braided 4an lines, really just need to get my r mani lip shaved for a t3.
And likely some forged rods.
I will say though these cars impress for stock internals.
Aaron got 430whp out of 200k stock motor.

Aaron is very good. Best tuner out there for M4.4 from the numbers I’ve seen cars put down with his tunes! Then there are some other cheaper tuners out there who put down some laughable numbers out of bigger turbos. Usually with various other problems.

Repaired the HVAC flap arm on my V70. Didnt know it had snapped until a white knuckle drive on the highway occurred. I had the passenger wipe the windshield with microfibers while we drove in the snow. Turns out the arm had snapped in half and had disabled the defrost!

Drove all three P80 cars today. Because two of them hadn't moved in about two weeks.

If you're looking for a beater NA wagon with salvage title and an engine that will run another 200k, look me up.

Took driver seat out for repair. Im also planning to run some audio cable under the floor mat. Think this car stereo project has taken well over a year now 🤔 also realized I started hoarding jewel lights...
