My HU-613 no longer works. When searching for a used radio it would appear that I need to find one that has the code (or VIN of donor vehicle) or I'm out of luck, right?
Thanks!
Thanks!

You will need the code or VIN number for the car the radio was installed in at the factory.
Look for the code on top of the radio, service techs sometimes pencil it there for convenience.
Look for the radio code card in the glove box.
Look for the radio code in the owners manual, some owners pencil it there. Look in the owner's notes.
A PO of a S90 I had, penciled the code in owners manual on the display of the radio. Almost missed it until I realized it was not print.
Volvo has a online form for getting the radio code from the VIN number.
There are some websites that claim they can get the code from the radio serial number. I never got one to work.
