Door latch stuck 99 V70 XC Topic is solved

The door latch is stuck. The trick Robert shows in his video isn't working. Any other tricks or hints to get this sucker open?

Front drivers. Neither inside nor outside handle works. Can't open the door to get at the rest of the mechanism to replace it at the moment.

There s a great Volvo garage in Albany with a opening this morning. Look for a huge collection in the driveway

I don't remember well, isn't it possible to uncouple the door panel to try to move its from the top a little bit, enough to introvert a hook or a thing like that ?

I have the interior of the door off. When you say invert a hook, to what would I be attempting to hook? It isn't a problem with it being unlocked, it's that the actual mechanism to release the latch per Robert's video is not working.

You're lucky to a small extent.

The tab moves a bit, hear a clunk and then door doesn't open. May pay to toss her in the garage at work to see if it is a freezing issue.
