Radiator fan

Look guys I'm having a problem with my fan not coming on sometimes it does. It's like when I jiggle the relay or the sensor wire. Granted I'm impatient. I just got this New senor and new relay. I put an older relaybackin then I jiggled the sensor.then tappe the relay and it came on. Then down the road doesn't work.what the hexk is going on.

Are you using the old relay or the new relay?

Ect sensor and it's relay MUST be oem.
If you bought aftermarket sensor and relay this is expected.
Also check wiring on a relay and ect sensor from wiring loom side.

+1 on what misha says. Only Volvo unless you are in Europe where you may find the OEM supplier parts like Vernet for the ECT.

Well I found an old volvo relay in my stuff I put it turned AC, came on for a bit. Shut it off turned AC iback on nothing. I think this old one is bad. At the JY found another, went ahead and got it. Will try that. kinda broke right now but I ordered a used guarantee to work on eBay. Yeah the one I bought was not volvo. My volvo is stubborn if it's not volvo I think she gets pissed off. A little bit.

Ac doesn't work that way in these cars...especially if the car is equipped with ECC.

Cooling fan will not turn on when you hit ac button,unless you turn the heater blower on and ac compressor is engaged.

If ac compressor is not ON because if it is low on freon,or seized...cooling fan will not turn on when you hit ac button and heater blower.
