Great find! Very cool. I do remember when it wasn't that difficult to buy one of these on the used market but those days are gone.

The ad is supremely disappointing for a 28k ask.

They sell for £15k here (£10k ish for auto). If you want rust free and RHD drive import an imported one from the UK and save yourself £10k.

It seems like bidders were even rarer than the car.

Looks like this one ended with no bids. Roughly 3x if not 4x overpriced.

If you look at classic European car sales websites you will find 850 T5-R's for sale for up to 3000 Euro's. Do real people pay that amount for them?

Looking at these webpages prices seem to have dropped since I last looked. The mileages v's prices are nuts 17,500 Euros for a 320,000 (200k miles) car? Look at the last 3 cars on the above list with low mileages!

This dealer was trying a few back selling the wagon. His is in South Florida and takes G-wagon Benz's and makes them 6x6 models. Tried to see if they wanted to deal on the wagon and their ego over the phone turned me off. I told them I could be down there in 3 hours ( I live in North Florida) with a check from the bank for what I told them the price of the car should be around at. NO GO. lol

Is it definitely an S? Might be worth it then, to be honest. Limited run edition of the already limited Turbo R, with a production run of only 60 cars (down from the originally planned 75), and only sold within Europe, the Middle East and the Far East. Can't imagine there's many, if any, in the US so gauging the market there is possibly challenging.

I sincerely approve of your choice of slang however, it's one of my preferred vulgarities.
