Sunroof replacement on 89 740GL U.S. spec

I need to replace my weather stripping on my sunroof. I took it to my mechanic and he said he would need to remove the whole sunroof. I would prefer doing it myself but don't know how to. My sunroof is not powered by a motor, it's simply crank. What do you do to remove the it? My VOLVO has 189000miles on it
