Humor is in the eye of the beholder I guess. I bailed after 30 seconds. Not enough Eddy Izzard for me,

This guy is funnier! He had one on Volvo drivers, but I couldn't find it. I guess he got too much heat and removed it. June

I offered Mr. Regular a chance to drive my T5M so he could get the true turbo manual experience, but he never responded.

In other words it's entertainment? That's fine with me, as long as it's entertaining, that's more than enough. But I also find his pieces to be very informative. Lots of context on what was happening with cars at the time the car he's reviewing was released, lots of info on how it did, the technology at the time, much misc. I'm not looking for a spec sheet. But again you need to look past the fart jokes, and his humor definitely isn't for everyone.

June wrote: 05 May 2019, 17:07 I love Doug Demurro! His review of the 1977 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz is hilarious! I grew up with those big GM cars and to see the take of a Millenial on real American cars is funny. Also watch his Yugo review it's my second favorite. June

That guy reviewing the 850 is a moron and doesn't deserve hits on reviews like that!!!
I know this is an old post but saw it in the extra thread suggestions. I HAD to comment. Lol. I also think Doug is good at reviewing. It irritates me that he doesn't keep his ratings inside the time period that any specific older car was made in. But I love his reviews. I agree Regular Cars is a moron. I think he is too explicit. He needs to keep those things to himself. I don't think he should be allowed to post videos with such content. I am glad I have the 960 instead of a p80. More advantages to the 960.

I too am a big fan of Mr. Regular.
I do appreciate his humor (sometimes... It can be way out there). But what I enjoy the most is the information he researches and shares.

You're right wrybread. he does a great job explaining aspects of the car I don't hear about elsewhere. Especially when he describes the car in the context of time. One of my favorite reviews was this one.

Yes there is some ridiculous blue humor in there but the way be points out the design cues Toyota used from the mustang and other cars finally allowed me to answer the question I've had for decades of "Why do I like the way that car looks? "
The comparison he makes between this car and the Gremlin really highlights how different two cars on sale at the same time could be.
That video alone was responsible for me diving into hours and hours of other videos (not just his) on 70s era japanese cars and related topics.

[edited to replace Pacer with Gremlin]
